Description
The iPhone X charging circuit is the electronic component that manages battery power when the device is plugged into the mains or a charging cable. It regulates the voltage and current sent to the battery to protect it from overcharging. A fault in this circuit often shows up as charging that no longer starts, very slow charging, a device that switches off while plugged in, or no reaction from the charging connector.
This part is a compatible version made by a third party, designed to replace the faulty current part. Before you begin, switch off the device, disconnect all cables and work on a clean, anti-static surface. Do not puncture the battery, bend it or heat it. If the battery is swollen, do not try to charge it and stop using it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
After fitting, check that the device charges correctly with a cable and a mains adapter in good condition. Let the battery go through a few full charge and discharge cycles so the system returns to stable operation. Monitor the temperature during the first charges: it should remain moderate. If the behaviour is abnormal, stop charging and repeat the checks step by step.
