Description
The magnetic unlocking key is a repair tool designed to open with ease parts that are glued or fixed by magnetic adhesives or clips on an electronic device. It is used to lift and release the casing, the screen or a cover without damaging the edges. It thus gives access to the inside of the device to replace the current part, whether it is a screen, a worn battery or another component.
This tool is compatible with all models. It is a third-party manufacture, designed for do-it-yourself repair. Before starting, switch off the device, remove the case and prepare a clean work surface with sorted screws. To avoid any discharge, work on a non-conductive surface and touch a metal earth before handling the components.
If the device contains a lithium battery, disconnect it before touching the ribbon cables, do not pierce it and do not bend it. A swollen battery must no longer be used. After assembly, check that the affected areas work properly and only close the casing once all connections have been checked.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before opening it
- Work on a clean, non-conductive surface
- Sort the screws and small parts for reassembly
- Never pierce or bend a lithium battery
- Check all connections before closing the casing
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
