Description
E8000 adhesive is a transparent glue used in electronic repair to fix seals, retaining adhesives and small parts in smartphones, tablets and computers. It suits a wide range of devices and allows bonding of components to various surfaces, such as glass, plastic or metal, depending on how the surfaces are prepared.
This adhesive, compatible with all models, is used to replace a sealing gasket or re-fix a retaining adhesive when it no longer holds. Before application, clean the surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and let them dry completely. Apply a thin, even layer, avoiding excess that could run onto neighbouring components.
Work in a well-ventilated area, away from any heat source, and protect your hands. Do not let the glue come into contact with connectors, ribbon cables or screens. Before closing the device, wait for the drying time indicated on the packaging and check that everything is firmly attached.
Tips
- Clean surfaces with isopropyl alcohol before bonding
- Apply a thin layer to avoid overflow
- Protect connectors and ribbon cables during application
- Ventilate the room and avoid any heat source
- Respect the drying time before closing the device
