Description
The waterproof UV glue REFOX 30 ml is an adhesive designed to fix and seal seals and repair components on smartphones, tablets and computers. It cures under ultraviolet light, allowing precise bonding and a hold suited to parts exposed to water splashes once the repair is complete. This is a compatible part from a third-party manufacture, offered for all models.
It is used in particular to re-attach a detached sealing gasket, hold a component in place or secure an edge after replacing a current part. For a good result, clean the surfaces carefully with a lint-free cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol, then let them dry completely. Apply only a thin amount, as excess glue can spill onto connectors or ribbon cables.
Before fitting, disconnect the device's battery and work in a clean place, protected from static electricity. Cure the glue under UV light for the time indicated by the manufacturer, then check the alignment before switching the device back on. Never drill, bend or heat a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
