Description
This electronic component is a spare part referenced S2D0S03, intended for the Galaxy S8 model. It replaces the current part when the latter no longer works correctly. Its quality is that of a compatible part, made by a third party: it is designed to fit in place of the current part, without meaning that it reproduces all of its characteristics. Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if the model allows it, and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an antistatic wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharges, which can damage circuits.
When dismantling, note the position of screws and connectors, and use suitable tools to avoid scratching or bending the ribbon cables. Disconnect the battery before handling any fragile ribbon cable or connector. Once the component is installed, check that all connectors are firmly seated and that nothing prevents the cover from fitting. Switch the device back on only after a full visual check and observe its operation for a few minutes before closing it up for good.
