Description
This electronic component is a spare part with the reference TQF6410, designed for the iPhone 6 Plus model. It is a compatible part made by a third-party manufacturer: it replaces the faulty current part without necessarily reproducing all its characteristics identically. Its role is to restore the electronic function concerned when it no longer responds correctly, for example after a fall, contact with liquid or normal wear.
Before starting the replacement on your iPhone 6 Plus, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any power source. Work on a clean surface with sufficient lighting, and protect the components from static electricity by avoiding touching the contacts directly. A small suitable screwdriver and anti-static tweezers make the job easier. If the device has a lithium battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that the repaired function responds correctly. If the device contains a new or replaced battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to optimise it. Watch for heat: an abnormally high temperature should prompt you to cut the power immediately.
