The faults it can fix depend on the function of the component, which the title does not fully describe; before buying, therefore compare reference T451 with that of the part removed from your device.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it, particularly before handling a ribbon cable or connector. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge. Do not bend connectors and never force a connection. If a lithium battery is swollen, do not use it and do not attempt to puncture or bend it.
After reassembly, check that each function linked to the component works correctly before fully closing the casing. If the battery was disconnected or replaced, let it go through a few complete charge cycles so the device regains stable behaviour. Excessive heat during testing should alert you: switch the device off and check the fitting.
