Description
The charging connector is the small part that links your phone's USB port to the circuit board. It lets you plug in the cable and power the battery. When it is worn, dirty or damaged, the phone charges poorly, disconnects from the cable or no longer charges at all.
This compatible version is designed for the Galaxy Core Plus. It replaces the current part, which should be removed carefully by disconnecting the battery first to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use a suitable tool so as not to force the neighbouring flex cables. Keep the heat moderate when desoldering.
After fitting, check that the connector clicks into place and that the cable holds firmly. Reconnect the battery, then carry out a few full charge cycles before judging the result. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
