Description
The charging port is the small component that connects the Lightning port of your iPhone 7 Plus to the logic board. It is what lets you plug in the cable, charge the battery and transfer data. When it wears out or gets dirty, the phone may charge slowly, disconnect from the cable or no longer recognise the charger.
This compatible part is made by a third party to replace the current part in your device. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a tray so they don't get lost. Do not drill, bend or press on the lithium battery.
Once the assembly is finished, reconnect the battery and test charging with several cables. Let the phone go through a few full charge cycles so the battery adapts, then check the microphone, speakers and connection. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it immediately.
