Description
This compatible charging connector is a replacement part for the charging port of the Nokia Plus. It is the entry point for the power cable: it makes the electrical contact between the charger and the device's board. When it is worn, dirty or damaged, the phone charges poorly, charges intermittently, or no longer charges at all.
This part is made by a third party and offered as compatible with the model. It lets you repair the charging port at a lower cost, without replacing the motherboard. Before you start, switch the phone off, unplug it and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not try to remove it.
After fitting, connect a charger in good condition and check that the cable seats firmly with no play. Then let the phone charge through several complete cycles and watch that it does not overheat.
Tips
- Switch off and unplug the device before any work
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Avoid static electricity: work on a clean surface
- Check the connector alignment before closing the device
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
