Description
This compatible charging connector replaces the charging port of your OnePlus 9 when it no longer recognises the cable, overheats abnormally or charges intermittently. It is the part through which the current reaches the battery, and it suffers a lot of wear from repeated plugging and unplugging.
Replacement requires patience and precision. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work. Then open the phone with suitable tools, without forcing it. Take care with the thin ribbon cables that connect the connector to the motherboard: they tear easily. Protect yourself from static electricity by working on a clean surface and, if possible, regularly touching a metal earth point.
After fitting, first check that the cable seats without play and that charging starts properly. Let the device run several complete charging cycles so the system can recalibrate. If the battery swells, overheats or shows any deformation, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
