Description
The charging port is the small component that connects the USB port of your Pixel 7 to the motherboard. It is what allows the battery to be charged and data to be transferred. When it wears out or becomes damaged, the phone may charge slowly, only in one particular cable position, or stop charging altogether.
This compatible part is made by a third party to replace the faulty connector on your Pixel 7. It suits faults linked to the charging port, such as a cable that no longer stays in place or a phone that no longer detects the charger. Before you start, switch off the device, unplug it and work on a clean surface, with good lighting and an anti-static tool if possible. For ribbon cables, always disconnect the battery first and avoid sharp bending.
Once the fitting is finished, reconnect the cable and check charging as well as the recognition of the charger. As a precaution, let the battery go through a few full charge cycles before judging the result. If the battery swells or appears damaged, stop using it and never puncture it.
