Description
The charging connector is the small component that links the USB-C port of your Pixel 9 to the motherboard. It carries current from the charger to the battery and enables data synchronisation with a computer. When it is worn or dirty, charging becomes slow, intermittent, or stops altogether.

Before you start, switch off the phone, work on a clean surface and use suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, avoid static electricity and never force a connector. After fitting, test charging with several cables and check that data transfer is detected. If the worn battery shows swelling, stop using it.
