Description
The charging connector is the small part that links the phone's USB port to the circuit board. It is what allows the device to charge and to transfer data when a cable is plugged in. When it is worn, dirty or damaged, the phone may charge slowly, stop charging altogether, or disconnect as soon as the cable moves.

Use a plastic tool to release the ribbon cables without bending them, and work protected from static electricity. Never force a connector that resists.
After fitting, check that the phone charges properly with a cable in good condition, then let it charge fully once or twice to stabilise operation. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it.
