Description
This compatible charging port is designed for the Redmi Note 9. It is the port at the bottom of the phone, where the power cable is plugged in. It charges the battery and transfers data when a cable is connected. When it is worn or dirty, the phone charges poorly, charges intermittently or no longer detects the cable.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface at moderate temperature, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not drill or bend the lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
After replacement, check that the cable plugs in without forcing and that charging starts properly. If charging remains slow, let the phone complete a few full charge cycles so the system can adjust. Keep the screws sorted by position for easier reassembly.
