Description

Before you start, switch the device off completely, remove the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean surface with a suitable small screwdriver and flat-nose pliers. Protect the board from static electricity by avoiding synthetic mats.
After fitting, check that the connector clicks firmly into place and that no ribbon cable is pinched. Reconnect the battery, then test charging with different cables. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Avoid excessive heat during the repair.
