Description
The front camera FPC connector is a small flexible ribbon cable that links the front camera module to the motherboard of your iPhone 15 Plus. It carries the image data and the power needed to run the front camera, which is used for selfies and video calls.
A fault with this connector often shows up as a front camera that no longer appears, a black or frozen image, or a camera that works only intermittently depending on the position of the phone. Replacing the part restores normal use of the front camera without touching the other components of the device.
Before you start, switch off your iPhone 15 Plus completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface at room temperature, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself beforehand. After fitting, check that the front camera works before closing the device.
