Description
The NFC controller iPhone 8 is a small electronic circuit that manages your device's contactless communication. It enables, among other things, contactless payment, badge reading and short-range data transfer when you bring your device close to a compatible object. When it fails, these functions may become inactive or work erratically, without the screen or battery necessarily being affected.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It is offered as an affordable alternative for repairing the NFC function of the iPhone 8 model. Before you start, switch the device off, drain the battery as much as possible and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge.
For fitting, always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and connectors. Do not bend the cables and never force the tabs. After reassembly, check that the NFC function works properly with a test app, then monitor charging and heating of the device over a few charging cycles.
