Description
This rear cover, or chassis, protects the back of your G4 and supports the internal components. As a compatible part, it can replace the current one when it is cracked, scratched, bent or damaged after a fall. It restores a clean finish and a solid feel to the device.
Before you start, switch off the G4 completely and unplug the charger. Work on a flat, clean surface, using a small suitable screwdriver and plastic tools to avoid scratches. If the battery is swollen, do not puncture or bend it, and do not continue the repair: entrust it to a lithium battery recycling specialist.
After fitting, check that all clips are properly engaged and that no gap is visible. Test the side buttons and the charging port. Once the device is reassembled, carry out a few full charge cycles to make sure everything works normally.
