Description
This complete repair housing is designed for the iPhone 7 model. It replaces the outer chassis of the device, that is the shell that protects the internal components and gives the whole its shape. It is useful when the shell is cracked, deeply scratched, deformed after a fall or damaged around the buttons and openings. Replacing the whole assembly gives you a clean and solid device without touching the electronic part.
Before you start, switch off the device, unplug the charger and place the parts on a clean, clear surface. Use a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching or forcing the clips. Do not overheat if your opening method requires heat, and never pierce or bend the battery. If it looks swollen, stop using the device. Also discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the parts.
Once assembly is complete, check that the buttons respond correctly, that the openings are properly aligned and that the device has no abnormal play. Test charging and the speakers. It is advisable to carry out a few full charge cycles before intensive use.
