Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display of the smartphone 5 (model 5086, 2018) when the current part is cracked, broken or no longer responds to touch. It restores a clear image and a working touch surface for everyday use.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a suction cup. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid excessive heat. Disconnect the battery before handling the connection ribbons to limit the risk of short circuits or electrostatic discharge.
After fitting, check the touch response across all areas of the screen, the brightness and the response of the sensors. Reassemble the device only once these checks are done, and never force the connectors.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use a suction cup and a plastic tool to open without forcing
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully to avoid folding them
- Check touch and display before closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery
