Description
This compatible screen replaces the current screen of the Blackview BV8800, a rugged smartphone. It is a third-party part designed to be fitted in place of the phone's current part. It allows you to repair a cracked, broken or unresponsive screen, as well as display problems such as black areas or distorted colours.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools so as not to damage the ribbon cables or connectors. Avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers, as static electricity can damage components.
After fitting, check the touch response, brightness and screen edges before closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. Keep the temperature moderate during the repair and carry out a few full charge cycles so the phone returns to stable operation.
