Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display of a Redmi Note 8 Pro when the current part is cracked, broken or no longer responds to touch. It restores a sharp image and a working touch surface without having to replace the phone.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a container so they do not get lost. Gently warm the edges of the glass with a hair dryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, and never overheat it.
Once the assembly is finished, switch the device on and check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the edges. If an area does not respond, reseat the ribbon cable before closing the device completely. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a swollen battery.
