Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Honor 8 (2016). It helps restore the picture and touch responsiveness when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, there are black areas, or the screen no longer responds correctly to touch. It is a third-party manufactured part, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, then work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable opening tool and a tray to store the small screws. Avoid static electricity by regularly discharging yourself against a metal surface. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen. Keep heat moderate when opening.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the sensors before fully closing the casing. If you notice a fault, reconnect and check the ribbon cables again.
