Description
This compatible screen replaces the current screen of the HTC One mini. It is a third-party part designed to fit this model. It is used to replace a cracked or scratched screen, one that no longer responds to touch or no longer displays the image correctly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface in a well-lit place, and use an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. To open the device, the edges often need to be warmed gently with a hair dryer on a low setting, then carefully loosened with a suction cup and a flat tool. Never force it.
Disconnect the battery before unplugging the screen ribbon cables. After reassembly, switch the phone on and test the touch response across the whole surface, the brightness and the colours. If a battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
