Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPad 6 (2018). It combines the touch layer and the display, and replaces the current part when it is cracked, no longer responds to touch, or shows black areas or display defects. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer with OLED screens, whose rendering comes close to that of the original at a more affordable cost.
Before fitting, switch the tablet off completely and disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable tool to open the chassis without forcing it. Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen. Avoid excessive heat and protect sensitive components from static electricity.
Once the part is installed, check the touch across the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and the absence of dead pixels before closing the device completely. If the tablet feels abnormally hot or the display shows a fault, switch it off and check the connections.
