Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPhone 5C. It replaces the current part when the glass is cracked, the display is blotchy or dark, or the touch no longer responds properly. It is a high-end third-party compatible part, with an OLED screen whose rendering is close to that of the current part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a tray to store the screws by position. Work on a clean, clear surface at room temperature, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself regularly on a metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After assembly, check the display, the brightness, the touch across the whole surface and the proximity sensor during a call. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not attempt to repair it. Take your time for a reliable result.
