Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged display of the iPhone 5S. It handles the display and touch response: it is the part to change if the screen is cracked, has black areas, abnormal colours or faulty touch sensitivity. It is a high-end third-party manufacture with an OLED panel, whose rendering is close to the current part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear and well-lit surface. Keep the small screws in a numbered compartment so they do not get mixed up. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal surface. Never bend the ribbon cable and do not expose the device to excessive heat during disassembly.
After reassembly, check the display, the brightness, the touch across the whole surface and the proximity sensor during a call. If the battery was disconnected, then check its connection. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
