Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPhone 6S. It replaces the current part when that one is cracked or broken, or when the panel no longer responds correctly to touch or no longer displays colours as expected. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third party with an OLED panel. Its display is close to that of the current part you are replacing, for comparable everyday use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit room, with suitable tools. Avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent. If it is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, check the touch, brightness, colours, front camera, proximity sensor and speaker. Only close the phone once all the ribbon cables have been checked. Keep the heat moderate during the repair, as too strong a heat source can damage the components.
