Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display of the iPod Nano 6 when they are cracked, scratched or no longer light up properly. It restores a readable image and working touch input without changing the device. This is a compatible part made by a third party, not a part supplied by Apple.
Before you start, switch off the iPod and place it on a clean, clear surface. Work with a small suitable screwdriver and a suction cup or plastic opening tool to avoid forcing anything. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and wear an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check the display, the touch screen and the buttons before closing the casing completely. It is advisable to carry out a few full charging cycles so that the device runs stably. If a fault appears, do not force anything and check the connections again.
