Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display of the iPod Nano 7 when they are cracked, scratched, switched off or no longer respond to touch. It is used to restore the display and touch surface of the device, without changing how it works. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before you start, switch the iPod off completely and place it on a clean, dust-free work surface. Use a plastic opening tool rather than a metal object, and work at room temperature. Take the time to disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge and then carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise everything. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
