Description
This compatible screen replaces the current screen of your iPod Touch 5 when it is cracked, scratched or no longer responds to touch. It ensures the display and the reception of gestures on the touch glass. It is a third-party manufactured part, designed to fit the iPod Touch 5 model.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables. Use tools suited to opening and place the screws in a precise order so they are not mixed up. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity by touching a metal earth before handling the components.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness and the touch response across the whole surface before closing the casing completely. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. Moderate heat is enough when removing the glass.
