Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the iPod Touch 6 when they are damaged. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the iPod Touch 6 model. It restores the image and touch response when the glass is cracked, when the display shows black areas, lines or abnormal colours, or when the touch no longer responds properly.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable small tools and screws kept in a precise order. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal surface to limit electrostatic discharges. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never force a connector.
After fitting, check the display, touch and brightness before closing the device completely. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it.
