Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display panel of your iPod Touch 7. It restores the image and touch response when the screen is cracked, scratched, broken or no longer responds correctly to touch. If the display shows black areas, lines or abnormal colours, this part can solve the problem.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit, dust-free workspace. Use a plastic opening tool and suitable spudgers to avoid scratching the chassis. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the device if the battery appears swollen.
Once fitting is complete, check touch across the whole surface, brightness, colours and the proper operation of the sensors. For a new battery, run a few full charge cycles to stabilise its performance.
