Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and damaged display of your K8 (2018). It helps restore a sharp image and a responsive touch area when the glass is cracked, the display shows lines, spots or black areas, or the touchscreen no longer responds properly. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit this model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if the connector allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a container so they do not get lost. Always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and do not use excessive heat to loosen the adhesive.
Once assembly is complete, check the operation before fully closing the casing: brightness, touch across the whole surface, front camera and proximity sensor. If a fault appears, reopen the phone and check the ribbon cable connection. If your battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture, bend or fold it.

- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery; swollen battery: stop using it
- Check touch, brightness and camera before closing the casing
- Heat moderately to remove the adhesive, without overdoing it
