Description
The compatible screen for Z30 is the visible, touch-sensitive part of the device. It is used to replace a cracked, broken or damaged display, for example with black areas, lines or a touchscreen that no longer responds.
Before you begin, switch off the device, work on a clean surface and discharge any static electricity. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. A swollen or damaged battery must not be used, and it must never be punctured or bent.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch response across the whole surface and the general operation before closing the device. If you use a heat source, keep it moderate. Note the position of each screw to make reassembly easier.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
- Keep heat moderate: a gentle heat source is enough to loosen the adhesive.
- Test the display and the touchscreen across the whole surface before closing the device.
- A swollen battery must not be used; do not puncture or bend it.
