Description
This replacement screen is a compatible part for the Edge (XT2305 / 2023) smartphone. It is used to replace a cracked, broken or scratched glass or display, as well as a display that no longer responds to touch or shows black areas or lines.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, preferably with an anti-static mat, to limit static electricity. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch response across the whole surface and that the buttons work properly. If the device overheats, stop and let it cool down. Keep the heat moderate throughout the whole handling.
