Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged glass and display of an iPhone 16 Plus. It restores a clear image and working touch when your current part is cracked, scratched or no longer responds properly. It is an affordable way to repair your device yourself without changing your smartphone.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace free from static electricity. Use a suitable tool kit, suction cups and a thin spudger to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables, and handle the connectors carefully so you do not damage them.
Once the new screen is fitted, check the touch, brightness, colours and proximity sensor before closing the device completely. Monitor the temperature during the first uses and do not expose the phone to excessive heat. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity
- Gently warm the edges of the screen to make it easier to release
- Check touch, display and proximity sensor before closing the device
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery; a swollen battery must no longer be used
