Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the iPad 4 (2012). It is used to repair a cracked screen, a damaged display or an area of the screen that no longer responds to touch. The part is manufactured by a third party and designed to fit the iPad 4 (2012) model.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and unplug it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with tools suited to opening devices. Discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface and avoid touching the connectors. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, check that the display, the touch response across the whole surface and the brightness work correctly before closing the device completely. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
