Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your iPad 9 (2021) when the current part is cracked, no longer responds to touch, or shows black or distorted areas. It is a third-party part designed to fit this model. Before you start, switch the tablet off completely, place it on a clean surface and work in a well-lit space. Gently warm the edges of the glass with a hairdryer on a moderate heat setting to loosen the adhesive without forcing it.
During disassembly, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables to avoid any short circuit. Do not bend or puncture the lithium battery, and do not use it if it is swollen. Protect the components from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before working. Pay close attention to the small screws and connectors, which are easily damaged.
Once reassembly is complete, reconnect the battery and check the touch response across the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and the absence of dead pixels before closing the case for good. If the tablet does not charge properly, run a few full charge cycles so the system can recalibrate.
