Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your iPad Mini 2, released in 2013. It is a third-party part designed to fit in place of the current component. It is suitable for repairing a cracked screen, a blurred display, touch areas that no longer respond, or an image that appears only partially.
Before you begin, switch the tablet off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and gently warm the edges of the glass with a heat gun on a moderate setting to lift the assembly without forcing it. As for the battery, do not puncture or bend it: if it is swollen, stop using the tablet.
After fitting, check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before closing the device. Then charge the tablet through a few full cycles so the battery returns to stable operation.
