Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your iPhone 4 when they are cracked, scratched or no longer respond correctly to touch. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the iPhone 4 model. It lets you regain a usable display without changing your phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables, to avoid short circuits. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a container so you don't lose them. Use suitable tools and never force the connectors.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and camera function before fully closing the device. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it and carry out a few full charge cycles. A swollen battery must never be used; do not puncture it or bend it.
