Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display of an iPhone 5C. It is used to restore the display and touch response when the current part is cracked, scratched, or no longer responds correctly. The most common faults concerned are black areas, horizontal or vertical lines, distorted colours and faulty touch.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable small tools. Work on a non-static surface and avoid touching internal components unnecessarily. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the phone.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and camera operation before fully closing the device. Moderate heat can help loosen the adhesive, but never heat excessively.
