This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display module of an iPhone 5S. It is used to restore the display and touch response when the screen is cracked, broken or no longer switches on properly. It is a third-party manufactured part, designed to fit the iPhone 5S model.
Before disassembly, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable small tools and screws kept in a precise order. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity by working on a non-conductive surface. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface, sensors and camera before closing the casing completely. If the current part shows a fault, compare the connectors before removing it. Careful checking limits the risk of malfunction.
