Description
This compatible screen replaces the front part of the iPhone 8, that is, the panel that displays the image and detects touch. It is used to repair a cracked or broken screen, a screen that no longer responds to touch, one that shows spots or lines, or one whose image has become hard to read. It is intended for an iPhone 8 that is already opened for a repair.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and a well-lit area. To loosen the glass, warm it gently with a hairdryer on a low setting: moderate heat is enough, and a swollen battery must never be used. Avoid bending the ribbon cable and protect the component from static electricity.
After fitting, check the display, touch response across the whole surface, brightness and the correct operation of the sensors before closing the device completely. If the screen does not switch on or shows faults, reconnect the connectors properly and check the alignment.
