Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPod Nano 7. It replaces the current screen when it is cracked, scratched, discoloured or no longer responds correctly to touch. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with an OLED screen. Its display is close to that of the original part, at a more affordable cost.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect it from any power source. Work on a clean, clear surface, using a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the casing. Mind static electricity: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and do not pierce or bend it. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and seek advice before any work.
Once fitting is complete, check the screen's operation, touch response and display across the whole surface. Switch the device back on carefully and watch for abnormal heating during the first uses. If a problem appears, switch the device off immediately and check the ribbon cable connections.
