Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPod Touch 5. It replaces the current screen when the glass is cracked, the display is black or blotchy, or the touchscreen no longer responds properly. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer with an OLED panel. Its appearance comes close to that of the original part while remaining more affordable.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and anti-static tools. Avoid impacts, bending and any pressure on the panel. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to puncture or bend it.
Once assembly is complete, check the display, brightness, the touchscreen across its entire surface and the proper function of the buttons. Only switch the device back on after these checks. If the iPod behaves abnormally, reconnect the battery and repeat the checks before using it normally.

- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, even if worn
- Swollen battery: stop using it completely
- Work with anti-static protection and moderate heat
