Description
This replacement screen is designed for the iPod Touch 6. It is a compatible part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer with an OLED panel. Its display is close to that of the original part, allowing you to regain a sharp image after a broken glass or a screen that no longer responds properly.
Before starting the replacement, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Do not puncture, bend or heat the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device.
After reassembly, check the display, touch response and button function before fully closing the casing. If the battery was disconnected, let the device go through a few full charging cycles for stable operation.
