Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display panel of the iPod Touch 7 when they are cracked, scratched or no longer respond to touch. It restores the display and touch sensitivity of the device. It is a high-end third-party manufacture with an OLED panel, offering a rendering close to the current part.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Warm the edges lightly with a suitable tool to lift the old screen without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never bend the lithium battery: a swollen battery must no longer be used.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch and buttons before closing the device completely. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally and carry out a few full charge cycles for stable operation.
