Description
This compatible screen replaces the display panel of your Meta Quest 2 (2020) headset. It is used to restore a sharp and smooth image when the current part is cracked or stained, has dead pixels or black areas, or no longer displays anything. It is a third-party part designed to be compatible with this model.
Before you begin, switch off the headset, remove any batteries and work on a clean, clear surface. Note the position of each screw and connector, and photograph the assembly. Handle the ribbon cables with care, avoid bending them, and protect your components from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before starting.
Once the replacement is complete, check operation before fully closing the headset: test the display in both eyes, the sharpness, the colours and the absence of defective pixels. Use moderate heat when disassembling, and take care with any component that appears damaged.
